1) Even after I lost 40 lbs, I still can’t wear whatever I want. Not everything fits every body type, if you’re a 2 or a 22 some things just won’t flatter you.
2) Confidence comes from the inside, not from the outside. You need to value yourself for your talents, your intellect, your kindness, and all the other things that make you you in order to have true confidence.
3) You look “your best” when you are your healthiest and happiest. If you get enough sleep, manage stress well, eat healthy foods, and do things that make you happy then that light will shine from the inside out and even if you are covered in mud and slugs, you’ll still look your best : )
4) My boyfriend has yelled at me for saying this. I have to agree with him. Who you were in the past is still a part of who you are. You shouldn’t talk badly about yourself, past or present.
5) You are never ever ever going to be able to get every guy you want. Its just a law of the universe. Some guys might like bigger girls, some might like smaller girls. Some might be more attracted to tall girls or short girls or black girls or asian girls. Some guys might only date democrats. Some guys might only date punk rock chicks. Some guys might not like any girls at all. There is no one body/personality that will make you universally attractive to every man (or woman for that matter.) The sooner you realize that and realize that it doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you, the happier you will be.
6) I lost 40 lbs but there’s still a lot of things I can’t do: be an astronaut, dunk a basketball, hold my breath for an hour underwater, put both my legs behind my head, speak to snakes, watch Fox News without getting angry, etc. You do not become a super human when you lose weight. You just become a smaller version of a normal human.
7) Yes, but simply being thin does not mean you are living your life with “good habits.” And what about all the bad habits that have nothing to do with weight loss. You can be a size 0 and still pick your nose, sneeze without covering your mouth, and have loud obnoxious cell phone conversations on the bus about how you’re going to find your cheating ex and slash his tires.
8) Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to hide your fat now.
You knew I was going to have something to say about that one, didn’t you? Whew, my arms are tired. Carpal tunnel!!!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I couldn’t have slammed my face into that ladder any harder if I had tried, and this is all I have to show for it? A little red mark on the bridge of my nose? It hurts like hell, anyways….
tanniagee answered: why were you disappointed? I liked it a lot! It was pretty accurate, except they left out Lupin & Tongs son but other than that :) good! no?
I was disappointed because they left out all of Dumbledore’s back story. And The Prince’s Tale was so brief. And Voldemort died the wrong way. And Fred didn’t have a death scene.
I guess there just was no way it could have met my expectation.
I still bawled through the whole thing, though…
Its nice to get to see this part with out tears streaming down my face like they were last night.
